In the latter months of 2024, a sandwich board appeared at the entrance of Arnell Creek. It was literally a sign to things to come! It announced that GloFiber was coming to Sussex County. Glo Fiber provides next-generation fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) multi-gigabit broadband internet access, live streaming TV, and digital home phone service powered by Shenandoah Telecommunications (Shentel). Shentel provides broadband services to customers in the Mid-Atlantic United States, including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and now Delaware.

 

Installation of the network is scheduled to start in early February 2025 and should be completed by April 2025.
